What a fantastic night at our quiz night at the Londoner ❤️

A packed room, plenty of laughs, some fierce competition, and great conversations about the future we want to build together.

One of the quiz questions related to Labour’s plan for bus fares 🚌

The answer: under Labour, Hamilton commuters will pay no more than $10 a week for public transport, putting money back in people’s pockets during a cost of living crisis and making it easier to get where you need to go.

Labour will make prescriptions free - scrapping the $5 fee for every New Zealander, at every pharmacy.
No one should go without medicine or healthcare because they can’t afford it. Free prescriptions will sit alongside our Medicard loaded with three free doctor’s visits, free maternity scans, and free cervical screenings.
Real money back in your pocket - just the start of how life will get better with Labour.

Labour’s Medicard will include free maternity scans - alongside three free doctor’s visits a year for every New Zealander.

Right now, a scan can cost up to $90, depending on where you live. You shouldn’t have to worry about money to know your baby’s okay.

Under Labour, maternity scans will be free, everywhere.

Our Sikh son making us proud. ❤️

Amanjot Singh of Hastings Boys’ High School, the national winner of a speech competition, delivered a powerful message on unity at our Sikh Pacific Community Hui at Takanini Gurdwara.

His words reminded us that our differences are not barriers, they are strengths. When communities come together with respect, understanding, and a shared purpose, we can achieve incredible things.

The future is bright when young leaders like Amanjot are leading the conversation. We couldn’t be prouder.
