💥Installation of an AED at Puketaha Hall💥
The Puketaha Hall committee has taken a significant step forward in enhancing public safety by installing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the Puketaha Memorial Hall. This would not have been possible without the market day fundraiser and community grants. Thanks to Waikato Farmers Trust & WDC Rural Ward Fund.
Having an AED at Puketaha Hall will provide immediate access to emergency care for hall users, event attendees, and anyone in the surrounding area. It stands as a testament to the Puketaha Hall’s commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our community.

The Puketaha Hall Committee have accomplished much in the year to date.
🔹We were successful in fundraising and obtaining Rural Ward and Rural Communities Trust grants to fund the purchase of an AED which will be installed in December for community use!

🔹Thanks to Alpha Electrical Services (1986) Ltd we installed AirCon/Heat Pumps, WiFi, extra power plugs and CCTV security cameras.

🔹We installed new fire-retardant Window and Stage curtains and under-bench water filtration.

🔹New tables, round and rectangular, were purchased, along with new chairs, and chair trolleys for ease of setting up.

🔹A new sign promoting that our Hall is for HIRE! Great for all kinds of gatherings, parties, weddings, meetings, concerts, dancing, exercising, markets, funerals and more.

Over the summer holidays, we hope to do some renovations and upgrades. More on that next year!

The upgrades on the hall continue with fire retardant interior and stage curtains newly fitted. In the past 6 months we have added extra electrical plugs, aircon/heat pump units, wifi, and new tables purchased. We are currently applying for grants to purchase an AED for community use after raising some of the funds with our recent market.
Looking to hire? The hall has a large interior, which includes a large spacious kitchen and stage area.
