At Hastings District Libraries we encourage our community to interact with us and let us know their views through our social media channels. This page is designed to inform our community on what the Librarie
s are doing. Although we encourage discussion, we have the following rules to keep our page a safe, respectful space:

• No personal attacks of any kind; trolling (deliberately instigating hostility or conflict to inflame a situation)
• No inappropriate comments that target any group or individual based on their ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual preference
• No spam (including repeated posts/messages, comments or messages not directly related to the subject of the post, uninvited marketing content)
• No infringements of copyrights or trademarks.
• No spreading misleading or false information. If these rules are breached, Hastings District Libraries reserves the right to hide/delete comments, and if necessary ban users. The Hastings District Libraries' page must not be used for electioneering purposes. Any post - positive or negative - made by any individual specifically relating to their own - or someone else's - nomination, intention to run for Council or election campaign, will be removed.
