Behind the scenes: setting up the Family VIP workspace (Hawke’s Bay).

This project was about creating a modern, comfortable office that could start with 10 staff and scale as the team grows, without the space feeling cramped or chaotic later on.

A big part of getting this right is being involved early: working through layout and product selection, and coordinating with builders/trades so power + data land in the right places (especially for things like height-adjustable pods and boardroom tables).

In this fit-out we brought in a mix of elements to support day-to-day work and wellbeing: plants, soft seating, acoustic panels, and an office quiet pod, plus a staff kitchen area designed to feel genuinely separate from the work zone.

We’re proud to support the Philips Search & Rescue Trust (Greenlea Rescue Helicopter) 🚁💚.

At Int. Workspaces we’re genuinely stoked to be able to say a big thank you and to back the people who show up for our communities when it matters most.

We recently delivered a donation of office furniture and supplies to the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew at their hangar in Taupō, including three standing desks, chairs, monitor stands, drawers, and a few extra goodies to help make the crew’s day-to-day workspace more comfortable.

The work these teams do is incredible, often in tough conditions, under pressure, and always with one goal: helping people get home safely. If we can play even a small role in supporting their wellbeing between callouts, we’re all in.

To everyone at Phillips Search and Rescue Trust and the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew. Thank you for what you do, we’re proud to support you.

📚Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui | Wellington’s Central Library is back and we’re proud to have played a part 📚

In November 2025, Int. Workspaces completed the design + supply + installation of steel shelving for Wellington City Council’s refurbished Central Library, a project that demanded deep collaboration, precision planning, and a lot of problem-solving across three levels.

Over a 16-week design process, we worked floor-by-floor with library staff (and Athfield Architects) to plan shelving for 51 unique collections, balancing functionality, accessibility, and structural constraints, including working around K‑bracing while keeping flow through the space.

Then came delivery and install: 12 weeks on site, assembling approximately 7.5km of steel shelving, plus bay end panels, canopy panels for the Children’s and Māori collections, and a range of custom elements (reading nooks, curved wall-mounted reserves shelving, browser bins, display plinths and more).

The result: a library ready to welcome 250,000 books back onto 8,000+ shelves — and a space Wellington can be proud of.

🚁 We’re proud to be an ongoing sponsor of the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter Service and to support the incredible work their crews do for our community every day. 🚁

Their team is there when people need them most, delivering a truly life-saving service across the region, and we’re grateful to contribute in practical ways behind the scenes so they can keep focused on the mission.

Over time, that support has included ongoing donations to help cover essential costs, providing furniture and IT Equipment to help with day to day operations, and catering lunch for the crews working on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
