What a day for our Senior Cross Country last week!
The weather was absolutely perfect, and our kids gave it everything they had!

We were so proud to see everyone getting out there, pushing themselves, cheering each other on and showing plenty of Raureka spirit!

A huge well done to ALL our runners, and a special congratulations to those who placed in their races! You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!

Interschool Cross Country is happening this Wednesday!

Good luck to all of our tamariki who have received a notice to participate. We’ll be cheering you on!

Last week, we were fortunate to have Ernest and Tiare from Ngā Whenua Rāhui visit Room 7. They shared their knowledge about our native birds and the pests that threaten them.
Tamariki had the opportunity to explore various taxonomy and watch two different pest traps in action, using fruit to demonstrate how they work. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that helped tamariki understand the importance of protecting and caring for our precious native taonga.

A big thank you to Ernest and Tiare for sharing their time, knowledge and passion with us.
