Our recent speaker, Elizabeth Pishief, has written a book about 42 Morris St, Napier. Copies are for sale for $20. Half of the proceeds are being donated to Duart House.

Duart House Society has a rather large 2D flat 40th banner (180cm x 250cm) and some black and gold 40th bunting (2 x 48 pieces) going free (or for a wee donation if you are feeling generous). See picture below.
Contact Duart House for pick up or pop along this Sunday between 10am and 12noon when the house is open to the public.

Some more photos of our Open Day. What a fantastic day it was. A huge thank you to all our bakers and volunteers who helped keep the day flowing smoothly and stomachs full, the amazing musicians who offered their time and kept our visitors entertained, Wayne our engine driver for parking up and showing off this lovely piece of vintage equipment, the Croquet Club for opening their green and allowing visitors to have a go, and to all our visitors for turning up and making a beautiful day celebrating the Society's 40-year anniversary so special.
Our thanks to our Mayor, deputy mayor, ex Duart chair Peggy van Asch and current committee chair Maggie Brown for keeping the formalities short and sweet😉

Duart House is open on the first Sunday of each month between 10am and 12noon ($5 entry per person), and the gardens are open every day for people to enjoy. And, if you have an event coming up and need a venue, come talk to us. Our rates are very reasonable.
