Meet Jessica our new nurse who started today. There were some teething issues with the internet, so hopefully this will be fixed by Thursday. Jessica will be at the healrh clinic every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 11.30am. She is really looking forward to servicing our community, so please make her welcome 👍😊

On behalf of the Himatangi Beach Community Trust, I am delighted to advise that Te Waiora have employed a new nurse. They will start servicing our community again, with the clinic at the hall open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 11.30am, starting from next Tuesday 11 November. This service is available to any local community members and we ask for a koha as payment.

Another great annual Cake Bake Off event at the Himatangi Beach Community hall yesterday. Thanks to Jax and the team, and all the cake bakers for such a wonderful afternoon fundraiser for our hall. Thanks also to our sponsors (New World Foxton, Coffee Spot, Levin Liquor land, Himatangi Blowing Club, Himatangi Cossie Club), our judges (Lynn, Sadie and two representatives from New World Foxton), auctioneer Rohan and all those who bought tickets in the raffle and one of the 20 beautiful cakes in the auction!
