A huge congrats to our team who took part in this year's Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge. They all climbed 1,103 stairs (51 levels), carrying 25kgs of gear each.🔥🚒

The Inglewood Volunteer Fire Brigade's team of 3 raise an incredible $4753 for Blood Cancer NZ!

You may be on the trucks🚒, leading a crew, 🙋‍♀️supporting behind the scenes, supporting other firefighters 🧑‍🚒 to respond to a call, in schools, in an office, or caring for a fellow fire friend.

We really appreciate ❤️ you and all mums past and present on your day.

You’re the miracle workers in our lives and the masters of juggling 🤹‍♀️101 things.

📣There's a new firefighter in town! 👨‍🚒🚒

Huge congratulations to Jamie who successfully completed his recruits courses down in Woolston this past week!

Jamie has worked incredibly hard to get to this point! Going above and beyond both for his crew and the community- even taking out 1st place Novice during Taranaki Toughest Firefighter Competition🥇

We are so excited to see how he will continue to grow within his role and the brigade.

Great night of training last night! 🚒

The crew got to run through an MVC scenario with the support of our regional trainers. Opportunities like this help ensure we’re ready to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most!

A big thanks to the regional trainers for coming out and sharing their knowledge- it’s always valuable to learn new techniques and sharpen our skills. 💪🪓

Amy has worked incredibly hard to prepare for this course so great to see all her effort has paid off. We are so proud of Amy and excited to see her grow and continue to contribute to her crew and the community🙌

Little change of direction today. We were joined by these great people who gave up their day for a training session in Breathing Apparatus. Thank you Waitara Fire Brigade for the use of your station as the venue to base the training out of. And thanks to Hāwera, Opunake, Inglewood & Oakura brigades for putting your people forward for this opportunity!
