At Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust we are deeply committed to transparency, wellbeing, and collective healing. Creativity as a tool for transformational change is something we believe in wholeheartedly. It sits at the heart of the work we do, and it shapes the spaces we create for people to come together, to be seen, and to reconnect with themselves and with one another.

Much of this work happens quietly behind the scenes. It is not always the work that is visible on social media or in the public moments of celebration. Often it is the slow and steady work of showing up, holding space, listening deeply, and trusting the process of healing as it unfolds in its own time.

This season has been a big one for the Trust. There have been many changes, moments of growth, and a number of good things taking shape that we are excited about. Through it all, the heart of the work remains the same. We care deeply about what we do, about the people who walk through our doors, and about the spaces we hold together as a community.

One of the things I feel particularly grateful for is the opportunity to facilitate alongside another powerhouse of a woman who both uplifts and challenges me in the best possible ways. There is something special about sharing this work with someone who brings their own strength, wisdom, and presence into the room. Together we get to hold a space that is bigger than either of us individually.

Yesterday was one of those moments that reminded me why this work matters so much.

We are now in week four of the journey, and this week we were working with the element of water. What unfolded was both simple and profound, a quiet moment of connection with nature, with one another, and with ourselves.

Sometimes the most powerful work happens in those moments.

Welcome to 2026 from Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust

As we step into a new year, we want to take a moment to welcome you back into our space.

Re:Woven exists to create gentle, accessible, and mana-enhancing spaces where creativity, connection, and care support people’s wellbeing. As we move into 2026, we are opening the year with a new offering that reflects the heart of our kaupapa.

Following our amazing uptake for our tasters at the end of last year we are now offering our first group for the year!

Introducing: Te Taiao Creative Art Therapy Group

This is an 8-week, community-based creative wellbeing programme for adults seeking a supportive space to explore emotional wellbeing, self-connection, and healing through art.

Te Taiao weaves together creative arts therapy and connection with the natural world. Sessions are grounded, trauma-informed, and guided by the elements, supporting grounding, emotional expression, resilience, and reflection.

No art experience is needed. This is not about making “good” art, but about using creativity as a tool for wellbeing, meaning-making, and connection.

Programme details:
Starts: Thursday 12th February 2026
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: 151 Gala Street, Invercargill
Adults 18+ or older
10-12 spots available
All materials provided

Accessibility:
As part of our sustainability plan this programme is offered on a sliding-scale contribution model, with fully funded and subsidised spaces available. No one will be excluded due to financial hardship.

If this speaks to you, we invite you to register your interest via the link below. A short pre-group kōrero is part of the process to support safe and supportive participation.

As we come to the close of another year, we want to pause and offer our deepest thanks to everyone who has been part of the Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust journey.

This year has been one of growth, learning, creativity, connection, and courage. We have shared meaningful moments with our community, worked alongside generous local funders, and witnessed the power of people showing up for themselves and for one another. None of this happens in isolation.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteers for their dedication, heart, and commitment. Thank you to our practitioners, collaborators, supporters, and whānau who have trusted us, walked alongside us, and helped weave this service together. Every conversation, workshop, creative offering, and act of care has mattered.

As we move into the Christmas season, we do so with gratitude for all that has been achieved, and hope for all that is still unfolding. We know this time of year can hold both joy and challenge, celebration and tenderness. Wherever you find yourself, we send encouragement, warmth, and gentle care your way.

Thank you for being part of our story this year. We look forward to continuing the journey together in the year ahead.

Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a safe, restful, and hope-filled New Year.

With deep gratitude,
Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust ❤️
