Celebrate Matariki in Kaiapoi happening on Friday 14 July. This event runs from. 4.30pm till 7.30pm at Norman Kirk Park.

There will be live bands, entertainment, Kapa Haka Performances , an interactive glow area and an impressive fireworks display at 7.15pm to conclude the evening. This is a free event, however donation buckets will be around. Kaiapoi High school are also running their famous Hangi ($15 cash only bought that night and collect the meal at 6.30pm). 🎆

This coming Sunday is the 5th annual Pride Picnic held at Victoria Park in Rangiora. Loads of food and entertainment and free entry!

Waitangi Day celebrations are happening this weekend in Kaiapoi! Come to Trusselot Park from 10am to 2pm for free live entertainment, food and market stalls. Kaiapoi High school are selling hangi tickets from their office at $15 each. A fun family day out !

A fun event for the young people in North Canterbury. This event has been postponed till Friday 25 November. The movie begins at 7pm with the Firework display starting at 8.45pm!

Some team members at R13 Youth Development Trust really enjoyed the latest Mental Health First Aid Course, run by Stepping Stone Trust. We always love to upskill and this course that was run in North Canterbury, was informative and useful to build on our knowledge base!

Had such a special group of people attend our most recent Mental Health First Aid course in Wooded last week! Here is a wee pic of our newly certified first aiders from last weeks course in North Canterbury with youth workers, support workers, teachers, and youth-passionate people!

At R13 Youth Development Trust, we love getting out and about and seeing what North Canterbury and Christchurch has to offer for our youth. Recent walks along the Kaiapoi River and trips into Willowbank and Orana Park have been enjoyed by all . We can't wait for the warmer weather to enjoy more of what our region has to offer!
