🎉 YEAR 6 WELLINGTON CAMP & NYLD ADVENTURE! 🎉
Our Year 6 students recently traveled to Wellington for an incredible few days of growth, leadership, and adventure! Attending the National Young Leaders Day (NYLD) was a major highlight, but the entire trip was packed with unforgettable moments.
Every single student made the most of every opportunity. They pushed themselves far outside their comfort zones and blew us away with their confidence to try new things.
Here is a look at what our amazing leaders got up to:
🧗 Smashed personal goals at rock climbing
🏛️ Stood in the debating chambers during a visit to Parliament
🌌 Explored the stars at the Space Place observatory
🚡 Rode the iconic Wellington Cable Car
🦖 Discovered treasures at Te Papa Museum
⛸️ Conquered the ice at the ice skating rink
🎳 Battled it out at ten-pin bowling
🏎️ Raced to the finish line at go-karting
The students had so much fun together, and the team spirit was so high that there was non-stop singing all the way home in the van!

🙌 Bayden Muller – for throwing yourself into every activity and getting amongst it with the kids.
💬 Joanne England – for your wonderful ability to connect with the kids, sharing laughs, and making sure everyone felt seen and heard.
❤️ Jackie Buhler – for your deeply caring nature and making sure everyone was happy and looked after.
