We need to get on top of council costs and spending.
Some steps have been made so far, but there is more work to do.
If elected I know I will be part of a team making the hard decisions for you the people.

VOTE: ALLAN SOLE. VOTE EXPERIENCE.
Hello Waihi Beach people.
With four years as a councillor I'm asking for your vote
We need to see more of our rate money spent on our roads and footpaths.
The need to have local services provided by local people. They seem to have pride in their town.
Things like dog control, freedom camping compliance and even at times parking need people on the spot to deal with them.
Our council spending has got to be brought to order. We must revisit our Long Term Plan, and we must get a handle on backroom costs.
A Councillor has only 1 vote at the Council table, but they also have a voice and need to speak and lobby for us.
Let me do this for you.

This offers subsidised taxis door to door.
This has got to be good for the mobility restricted people of Waihi.
Yes it is available in the Western Bay.

Councillor Katikati Waihi Beach Ward.

Hello Residents and Ratepayers of the Katikati-Waihi Beach Ward.
The subjects that comes up all the time is Climate Change and the Environment.
There is no doubt that the climate is changing and we need to be aware of what each of us can do to have a balanced environment for now and the future.
My focus is on water. If we improve our waterways, lakes, estuaries and the ocean then we will have a progressive improvement of our environment.
The work done in our ward by Project Parore, Taiao and our estuary care people is so important.
A very serious conversation is needed on raising the treatment level of our storm and waste water before discharge into our waterways, oceans or on to land.
I do not support the 3 waters scheme before us now. There are more palatable ways to fund and meet higher required standards.
I do support the new water regulator that sets the standards.

Waihi Beach people.
We need to see more of our rate money spent on our roads and footpaths.

Things like dog control, freedom camping compliance and even at times parking need people on the spot to deal with them.
Have you noticed the increase in rabbits around lately? This is a problem about to explode on us.
CCTV and ANPR cameras have been available in the other urban areas of the district for years. Is our property not as valuable? The chance to reduce and solve crime is just as important to us.
It's not an easy task to bring results.
A Councillor has only 1 vote at the Council table, but they also have a voice and need to speak and lobby for us.
Let me do this for you.

We have had a number of ideas come up from people through this election campaign.
The experiance and knowledge on how to progress your ideas is one of many things I offer you. Who to introduce you to and to be sure you present to the relivent Council committee.
Vote for Allan Sole. Give your ideas the best chance to get before Council Staff and into a Council agenda and plan.
I will work for you the rate payer and will always try to reduce rate rises.

Hello all NON-Resident Rate Payers.
It's your chance to have a say.
You can register for the Katikati Waihi Beach Ward By-Election.
Non-residents are able to register and have one vote per property. Forms are available at the WBOPDC Service Centre's/Library. or you can email [[email protected]] and they will email you a form.
Voting forms will start being posted out on the 8/4/21 and voting closes 12 noon Friday the 30th.
