A big thank you to everyone who supported the Year 12 Market Day today. We had 13 stalls running and the feedback was great. Good value and good portions!

Because this assessment focuses on community impact, the students chose to donate all proceeds to charity. Across both of our market days this term, we’ve raised $477.00 for the Cancer Society. 🎗️💛

Thanks to everyone who lined up, bought some food, and supported a good cause.

Great weather favored our Outdoor Education trip to Pirongia! Despite track closures from February’s severe flooding, we made the most of the debris by building bivouacs and enjoying a campfire with marshmallows and damper. Highlights included a night walk through the caves and, thanks to Mrs Re*****on, everyone stayed warm with even a few brave souls opting to sleep under the stars! 🌟⛺

What an amazing day at the Auckland Writers' Festival! The 2026 speakers also fed into our mental health focus as they spoke about dealing with anxiety and being aware of our own mental health. It was really special to see the time that the authors gave to our students at the book signing, answering any questions that they had. Thanks to the Auckland Writers' Festival School Transport Fund for supporting us to get so many students up for the day. Bring on 2027!

Last Saturday, some of our Year 10 leaders went to the first TEDx Talk at Waihi Beach. It was a great opportunity to learn about the accomplishments of the people in our community. Six speakers told their story and shared their goals for the future. Seeing so much innovation happening in our local area was a huge wake-up call to showing that, although we live in a small town, we can make a big difference.
