Miria Marae - Te Rapunga Waiomio This page has been set up for Ngā Uri o Ngāti Hine. He Marae mo te whakangahau, manaaki, tiaki rānei i te oranga mo ngā whānau o Ngāti Hine.

This page invites its members to share their stories from their whānau about Miria; both historical and in the making with information shared around the long term development of the marae complex. A marae that is vibrant, well managed and assists with the bringing together of whānau. (Miria Marae Strategic Plan 2008). The whānau are committed to:

Tena tatou whanau o Miria Marae Ngatihine.
We are doing a karanga to all our many whanau to join Miria marae to re connect in whanaungatanga and to nurture our strong ties to our marae.

We have a great opportunity to fundraise for our Marae through wananga that can encourage whanau to be involved, support and participate in our marae.

We will be holding online wananga as well as kanohi ki te kanohi wananga.
Our enrollments will be at our first wananga on Saturday 30th of August at Pokapu Kawakawa 9am - 4pm
You can also enroll on line. Details to follow
The kaupapa for our wananga will be explained at Pokapu on Saturday. For further information please email [email protected].
