Our next working bee is June 20th so do come along and join us.
You are welcome to visit at any time with an entry fee of $10 per person. We noted several keruru and plenty of fantail as we worked.

The weather forecast last Saturday deterred a few volunteers from our working bee but still a great group. It turned out sunny until early afternoon so lots of work was done.Huge job harvesting the walnuts which are now being dried and will be sold later in the year as part of our fund raising. Also spreading mulch was continued around trees and on the eastern gardens.
Our next working bee is Saturday May 16th we look forward to seeing anyone who can come along for an hour or several hours anything helps.
We welcome visitors at any time with some autumn colour to come. Entry is $10 per person so do come and take a walk around.

What a wonderful group of volunteers who worked to help with clearing up the storm damage last Saturday and get some of our gardens back in order after a few weeks of neglect while some of us had a break. Our heartfelt thanks to all who helped us and if you want to join our happy group please do so on March 21st our next working bee .
We also want to assure our visitors that the gardens are safe for you to visit although you will see a number of heaps of branches waiting to be mulched. Many of the photos show the damage from the winds. Please do come and visit at any time.

That wind has given us a battering at Heritage Park. Hope everyone is safe and no doubt getting on with clean up. Whilst we haven’t lost any big trees there are lots of branches to clear and pile up ready for mulching. Whilst our working bee is on Saturday 21st we would love any extra help anyone can give that day even if it’s only an hour or two.If anyone is able to help with chainsawing the bigger branches that would be great too.We look forward to seeing anyone who can assist.Come along any time from 9.30 to 12.30.
