Come along to our annual Light Parade & Picnic dinner on the 8th of April at Wairau Bay starting about 5ish, heading out about 6ish. Heading into Okawa Bay about 6.30 (dusk), to the Okere Arm about 7.30pm, Te Weta Bay about 8pm and then those that wish can head to the Hot Pools! This is a follow-the-leader event and we have a tail-end-charlie to make sure everyone is safe. Please don't mount lights forward of the captain as it makes seeing where you are going difficult at night.

Just a short 20 minute kayak from the bach to the hot pools, a great way to relax after exploring the caves, bays, beaches, steam vents and beautiful scenery from the lake.
