HVHS PREMIER SPORTS AWARDS 2026 - The Sports Department invites all Premier Sports students, whānau, coaches, managers, and officials to join us for an evening of celebration and recognition of sporting excellence.

📅 Date: Wednesday, 28 October
⏰ Time: 6:30pm (please be seated by 6:20pm)
📍 Location: School Hall
🎤 Guest Speaker: Julia Gluyas (NZ Women's Black Sticks Hockey Goalie)
👔 Dress Code: Smart, tidy school uniform for students

Enrolments for 2027 are open for in-zone applications in Years 9–13. All enrolments must be completed online:

Enrolment conversations start on Monday, 9 November. These helpful conversations with new students and their families help us plan for your student’s arrival.

We strongly recommend enrolling early, as popular enrolment conversation booking times fill up quickly and some Year 9 subject options have limited spaces.

Please note: Out-of-zone applications for Years 9–13 are now closed, and we are no longer accepting new applications.

⬇️ Schedule & Attendance
▪️Dates: Exams run from Monday, 12 October (first day of Term 4) to Wednesday, 21 October, with normal timetables resuming on Thursday, 22 October. Click the link below for the exam timetable:

▪️Timings: Morning exams start at 9:00am and afternoon exams at 1:30 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the exam starts.
▪️Daily Routines: Senior students in Years 11-13 study from home when they don't have an exam. Year 10 students attend regular classes unless they are sitting an exam.
▪️For Students with Special Assessment Conditions (SAC): Please follow the instructions sent from the Learning Support team.
▪️Venues: Room allocations will be posted daily at reception and at various other key places around school.
▪️Absences: If an exam is missed, contact the subject teacher immediately to arrange a catch-up session.

▪️Uniform: Full school uniform is compulsory.

▪️For Language Exams: Students must also bring headphones.

🫖 HVHS Japan Tour | Konbanwa! Our students have had a busy few days, visiting Tokyo National Museum, attending classes at Suginami High School, learning calligraphy, participating in a traditional tea ceremony and spending time with their homestay families.
