Good Afternoon

We have been advised of an event in our area that could affect some of our families getting children to and from school / bus stop.

For the safety of the crew and other road users, the following traffic controls will be in place:


Monday 25th May & Tuesday 26th May

Road Closure: Okaeria Road, 10am to 3.30pm each day (Residents of Okaeria Road and emergency services will still have controlled access during this time).

Stop / Go: Okaeria, Kopuku and Jamieson Roads intersection, 7am to 10am & 3.30pm to 6pm each day.



PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO FOLLOW DETOURS AND/OR ALLOW FOR STOP/GO WAIT TIMES. WHILE THERE MAY BE BRIEF HOLDS OF UP TO 10 MINUTES, IT IS ANTICIPATED ONLY MINOR DELAYS DURING THE BUSY MORNING PERIOD.

FOR THE AFTERNOON, WORKERS WILL BE STATIONED AT BOTH ENDS OF OKAERIA ROAD ALONGSIDE THE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT COMPANY TO HOLD BUSES AND PARENTS AT THE CLOSURE POINT.
ONCE THE ROAD IS CLEAR, IT WILL BE REOPENED FOR TRAVEL TO THE MEETING POINT BY 3.30PM AT THE LATEST.
ADDITIONALLY, A TEAM MEMBER AND A TRAFFIC CONTROLLER WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST WITH THE INCREASED TRAFFIC AT THE TURNAROUND AREA.

On Monday, there will be crew present at Okaeria Road to remind parents about the afternoon pick-up arrangements.
