Attention caregivers of students who are rearing a calf this year for Calf & Lamb Day......

🐄🐄Calf Judges Training Day | Franklin Calf Judges Association.

When: Saturday 5 September, 10am. Shared lunch will follow.

Where: Pukekohe A&P Showgrounds.

Parents, teachers, and children are all welcome. Children are encouraged to bring their calves along so the judges can show what they look for at calf club.

These are the judges who will be scoring on Ag Day, so take the opportunity to learn from the experts!

Franklin Calf Judges Association are actively looking for new judges so, if you may be interested, please head along! The time commitment for judging is incredibly minimal and makes a huge impact to so many rural school kids!

MATHEMATICIANS IN THE MAKING!

What an incredible Maths Week it has been for our Year 7 and Year 8 students!

What started as a friendly competition between Kowhai and Kauri quickly turned into a monumental achievement on the national stage in the Times Tables Rock Stars challenge.

Out of 300+ schools and over 15,000 students, Maramarua School placed 2nd overall for student averages! 🥈

We are so incredibly proud of the hard work, speed, and dedication our learners showed. Just like the sign outside our gates says: "Small school, big possibilities." We will keep striving to give our students every opportunity to shine and achieve big things!

A special shout-out to the Year 6 Kanuka students who stepped up and gave the challenge a go, you smashed it!

Watch out for next time, we’re aiming to get the whole school to participate!

We are thrilled to be taking part in Ninja Valley’s Show Up & Shine Term 3 Challenge!

This initiative celebrates the importance of regular school attendance and the positive impact that being at school every day has on learning, friendships and wellbeing.

🏆 The class with the highest attendance will win a trip to Ninja Valley in Hamilton! 🏆

It’s a fantastic opportunity for our classes to work together towards a shared goal, support one another and make the most of every school day. Every day your child is at school brings their class one step closer to the prize!

A huge thank you to our students and whānau for helping us make attendance a priority. Let’s work together, show up and shine, and see which class can take out the ultimate prize! 🌟
