👕 Our kaimahi got behind Pink Shirt Day!

Bullying in Aotearoa is a real problem, we have the third-highest rate of school bullying across 38 OECD countries, and one in five workers have experienced bullying behaviour in the past 12 months. Those affected are far more likely to struggle with their mental health.

Pink Shirt Day is about changing that. It's a chance to celebrate diversity in all its forms and stand up for schools, workplaces, and communities that are safe, supportive, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone.

Our team is proud to show up in pink and show up for each other. 💗

Tell us in the comments how you got behind Pink Shirt Day

This month we are proud to be part of a community-wide stroke awareness campaign. Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability in Aotearoa New Zealand and it can affect anyone, at any age.

Knowing the warning signs and acting quickly can save a life. Use FAST to spot a stroke:

F — Face
Is one side drooping or uneven? Ask them to smile.

A — Arms
Can they lift both arms? Does one drift downward?

S — Speech
Is speech slurred, slow, or hard to understand?

T — Time
Call 111 immediately. Every minute matters.
