This Thursday, we will be supporting Wāhine Ora – Whakamana te Tinana | Honouring the Body, with free wāhine health services available from 2pm–7pm.

Mirimiri appointments have also become available again due to cancellations.

🚨 Scabies cases are on the rise in our rohe.

Scabies spreads easily through close physical contact, including hugging, holding hands, and sharing bedding, clothing or towels.

The most common symptom is an intensely itchy rash, often worse at night or when you're warm.

If you or someone in your whānau has symptoms, seek advice from your GP or Healthline on (0800 611 116).

We've attached information on:
✔️ recognising the signs
✔️ treating scabies correctly
✔️ cleaning your home and belongings to help prevent it from spreading.
