Masterton FoodBank Masterton Foodbank supplies food parcels to people that need support within the Masterton district.
10am-12noon Monday to Friday

Masterton Foodbank was established in 1989 and is an incorporated society and moved to its present site in 2018. We now operate out of Radio House off Cricket Street behind Repco. Phone Number: 06 370 8034 Email Address: [email protected] (correspondence only - no referrals OR orders)
Foodbank is open to collect parcels Monday to Friday 10.00am - 12.00 noon. Food parcels can be ordered

by phoning (06) 370 8034 and talking to the operator, who will give you a specific time to come and collect a parcel. Please leave a detailed message on our answer phone if you are unable to reach the operator. Once ordered, parcels can be collected at the designated time. Self referrals need to show ID preferably a recent letter with name & address. Each parcel will contain enough food for at least the next 24 hours. Foodbank does its best to provide a nutritious variety of food and other useful items to help individuals, couples & families however we acknowledge that all clients are unique so please allow time when you come to pick up your parcel to select meals and additional extras that work well for your needs. Donations of non-perishable food as well as fresh fruit and vegetables are always welcomed and are preferable during opening hours, however there is a shelf where items can be left if you cannot make it within that time frame. Can we please ask that any donations of food be in consumable condition and that canned items have a label. Foodbank is generously supported with grants and donations of cash, food, time and other useful items. Donations can be credited to our Westpac account 030687-0313360-00. Let us know your details if your require a receipt (for tax refund) and our treasurer will endeavor to do this in a timely manor. Thankyou for your continual support for the foodbank.

Masterton is the best community in New Zealand😍😍

With a total of 642 bags collected - providing $12,840 worth of groceries to our local food bank we are officially the most supportive community in New Zealand.

That's right - thanks to your generosity and support we collected more bag's then any other New World and we are making a real difference for families in need.❤️❤️

We're also proud that New World, as a group, is contributing $250,000 to City Missions and local food charities nationwide.

Don't panic: If our volunteers do not come down your street you can bring your donations into the food bank, or drop into the local supermarket donation boxes.

If you have any lying around that arent needed or if you were looking for an idea for donating we would very much appreciate sanitary products of any kind. We believe every one should be able to access these products without hurdles but were just struggling to keep up with demand at the moment.
