No rest for the Dairy Farmer!

We haven’t yet started chopping our Maize, but we have these new additions on the ground!

These Jersey calves are part of our “winter milk” farm where we will supply milk to Open Country from now to December.
The heifers calves will be our replacement cows in 2026. The bull calves will become “service bulls” for the October 2025 mating season, for other spring farmers.

Our 4ha Maze Maize trail is open to the public for the last weekend before we harvest soon, a great place to enjoy some outdoor fun.

Only $10 per person.
General opening hours 10:30am-3pm Saturday and Sunday
Weather dependent, so check our page for updates and pop up opening’s.

We have cold drinks and snacks available for purchase and when available home grown corn and free range eggs.

Additionally thanks to some of our awesome local Matamata businesses we have some giveaways for “finding the herd”.

Come find us just 5 minutes drive south of Matamata at 126 Puketutu Road, Matamata.
