Each year Rotary Matamata hosts over 80 3rd year Lincoln students on their North Island field trip. They come in two batches on consecutive nights. It’s something members look forward to and is a good fundraiser for our club providing us with funds to “do good in the world”. Luca and Sam certainly gave the thumbs up to their billet at the Tanners.

As well as welcoming Judith tonight we were joined by Stuart and Isobel from RC of Stortford Lodge in Hawkes Bay looking to take home some good ideas for their club and, we had a great presentation from our RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) Rylarian Emily de Klerk. Emily works for a local equine vet practice and you can see how proud her employer Róisín was from the look in her face! All-in-all a great night was had.
