🌻Appreciation Post 🌻
Special thank you to all the whanau that contributed to a successful Rugby and Netball Day.
The donated baking was delicious and our stall was busy all day. Thank you Whaea Rocky and Elias for your mahi, the shop was a huge success.

Thank you to our parent managers and coaches, without you we wouldn’t be able to participate in days like this where every student from Year 1-8 gets to participate. Big mihi Whaea Ashlee for organising our teams.

Special mention to the wonderful students who came out to referee at Rugby! Whakatāne High School - Te Kura Tuarua ō Te Mānuka Tūtahi

Lastly thank you to Vikki-Ann for organising the use of the Matata Rugby Fields and making sure our games ran to time.

Today we had our term attendance assembly! We had 2 tamariki with 100% attendance! Congratulations to Kara and Ataahua! They both received a $30 Kmart voucher. We also received a $50 voucher from M.A.D Burgers - both names went into draw and was won by Ataahua! Again well done tamariki!!

Kia ora whanau,
We are reaching out for any donations of compost or seedlings for our updated Māra. Tamariki have been enjoying a range of veges and herbs in our school lunches and it is nearly time to plant our winter goodies. If you are able to help please let us know.
We would like to say a massive thank you to one of our mummas Cheyne who has been coming in, donating supplies and volunteering her time to get this up and running successfully.

Monday we welcomed our new whanau to our kura. It was fantastic to see so many fresh smiling faces ready to start / continue their learning journey. Looking forward to a wonderful 2026!
