Stoke Youth Park Stoke Youth Park (SYP) is a co-designed youth park created by Nelson City Council and the rangatahi of the region.

SYP is where young people can connect with peers, contribute to the community, learn new skills and be supported by adults who care.

Do you know the story and purpose of ?

Did you know that every coffee you purchase at doesn’t only help young people to gain experience as a barista, but also goes back into youth programs to support rangatahi in our community?

Did you know that was created by young people as a social enterprise, to continue supporting young people?

Did you know that at we’ve kept our prices super low, because being an affordable option for our community is really important to us?

If you’d like to know more about our story and the mahi that happens in our awesome little social enterprise café, then come try one of our epic coffees, and chat to our team. We love sharing the kaupapapa of with others, and we love seeing people support the awesome rangatahi in that space.

Kia Ora team! This week marks the beginning of our staff getting ready for the term ahead...woo hoo! Staff will be involved in training and setting up and with this HQ will be open Mon-Tues 3-5 and on Thursday 3-5 for the coming week! SYP Social Enterprise Cafe is open 7.30-12.30 all week.

Over the summer we have 2 awesome youth workers spending time Youth Park as well as other areas in Stoke between 7.30pm - 12.30am on Friday and Saturday nights. Their role is to support young people to be safe in our community and help keep Stoke to be an awesome community for whanau to enjoy.

Welcome Tana and Josh! Super appreciate your mahi with our young people.

Shout out to Nelson City Council for investing in Stoke and our rangatahi!

🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️ Mark your calendar - come relax and have some fun with us on the water before school starts again! will put some boards out for you to use, drop-in style, just show up 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️

But if floating on inflatable devices just ain't your thing, we still got you covered 💁‍♀️ We'll have games, snacks, magazines ... and a speaker that needs better playlists than mine ... So come hang out, socialize, relax and take advantage of our gorgeous backyard before heading back to school 🤩

Look out for the Sport Tasman gazebo, and the Kōhine Māia flag.
