Doing a bit of seed gathering today, lots of fun with the Honesty and loving the parchment coloured seed heads you are left with. Does anyone use them in floral work as they are awesome. Not so awesome is the collecting of the cynoglossum seeds, they stick to everything! I'm sure there's more on the dog and me than in the bowl

The scent of this plant literally stops me in my tracks every time I walk past it. It's called Sarcococa or Sweet box, I grow it as a hedge as it clips really well. All that beautiful fragrance comes from those tiny white flowers

Thank you TAFT for a great 2017 festive launch last night. Really super excited about the Garden to Vase workshop we will be holding here in the gardens Pavilion where you will have the opportunity to roam and raid my garden under the guidance of the super talented Pip Jones. Once back at the Pavilion that's where the magic happens and a gorgeous arrangement of your making takes shape...quite simple really when you have a master showing you the way...🤷🏼‍♀️💐🌿
