Taranaki Toy Library Taranaki Toy Library Trust is a charitable trust providing good quality toys to children Lots of different types of memberships.

You can find us behind the Knox Presbyterian Church on Devon Street in Fitzroy, New Plymouth. You are welcome to come and see us and check the library out :-) We are open Tue, Thur, Sat 9.00-13.00, Tue 2-4pm and Thur night 6.30-8.30pm. Look them up under the General Information. We have over 1800 toys, mainly for pre-school aged children. Membership Entitlement:

Tunnels! We love them & so do you, so we got a couple more. This one is from HART Sport New Zealand. It’s so strong and has these super cute peek-a-boo windows 🫣

Tunnels are great fun, out on the lawn or inside for crawling, practicing balance and hide and seek games. They can be helpful for an active sensory regulation tool as well 🧡

Great for adding to an homemade obstacle courses for the busy toddler 😆

We are open tomorrow 9am-1pm & 6.30pm-8.30pm. We have space for more families, so come along and have a look at what we have available ❤️💜💚

It’s kinda chic to be part of the Toy Library community. We have something for every child, whatever their currency is 🚒🛝🧺🍦

We have a choice of memberships or you can come and go after 1 month. Our vibe is to borrow not buy, loan the toys on offer and share them with hundreds of children.

This keeps costs down for families and it’s our hope to keep so many toys out of landfill 🌍 🌈💙

Got the BBQ out today to practice our skills! Thank you to the Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth, we are having a sausage sizzle on Sunday 9th August! Our committee will be fundraising with us. We are always wanting to do our bit in the community to help raise funds to support the running of our Toy Library ❤️💜💚 We also want to thank Woolworths New Zealand (the Valley) and TLC Meats, New Plymouth for their kind donations of bread and sausages 🍞🌭 **Look out for our ad for details, coming soon! Meanwhile we are open tomorrow. Excited for a sunny Saturday. See you between 9am-1pm ☀️

Day 6 of silliness. Noice! Oops I meant beautiful music! A family silliness session. Using some of our musical instruments from the music shelves. A drum, our cat keyboard, the DJ set and the percussion set. 🥁🎹🎤🎶 We love jamming and making waiata together. Steve wonder said “Music at its essence is what gives us memories.” So come in and have a look at what your tamariki might enjoy ❤️💜💚

Day 5 of silly fun! Barbie! 💕She has been someone’s friend for years and now she is at the library! She has a wings 🪽and a scooter that needed some love. (Plus WOF) Barbie is very happy about the pink basket on the back, to put her things in. Barbie is 67 yrs old (apparently) & feeling great 👍
