Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou! A big thank you to our amazing whānau who came out to support our tamariki at the cross country on Wednesday! We were so lucky the weather stayed clear, making it such a fun afternoon for everyone. ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We also have a couple of special shout-outs:

🚓 New Plymouth Police: Thank you so much for putting on such a delicious sausage sizzle! The kids (and adults!) absolutely loved it. 🌭

🏫 Francis Douglas Memorial College: A huge thank you to the 11 young men who came to support us. You showed immense patience and kindness to our tamariki—cheering them on, running right alongside them, and keeping their spirits high. You represented your school with absolute pride!

Thank you all for making it so special for our school community! ❤️

Please take note of a few important details for this game:

No School Van: The school van will not be running on Monday. Whanau will need to arrange transportation to and from the venue for their child.

Attendance: If your child is unable to play, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan team numbers.

Coach: Tainui will be at the court to meet the team and coach the game. He will have the uniforms there.

Thank you all so much for your support!

Kia ora Whānau! With our school Hauora Days coming up this Friday and Monday, it’s time to press pause, recharge, and prioritise our collective wellbeing.

We’re challenging every student and their whānau to nurture all four walls of Te Whare Tapa Whā over the long weekend. Whether you tackle one challenge or try them all, make it a family affair: Taha Tinana (Physical Health), Taha Hinengaro (Mental & Emotional Health), Taha Whānau (Social & Family Health) and Taha Wairua (Spiritual Health & Connection to Identity).

Share the Aroha! We want to see how you’re keeping well! Once you and your whānau complete a challenge, snap a photo and send it to our school page so we can celebrate your achievements together.

Mā te kotahi e whai kaora ai te katoa — together, let's keep ourselves and each other well. Have an amazing, restful four-day weekend! 🌟
