Today we celebrated our wonderful volunteers in Hawera, with afternoon tea and a visit from our South Taranaki Mayor Phil and wife Tanya. How very grateful we are, for each and everyone of our volunteers.

A huge thank you to Allan for organising such a fantastic outing to Kenyons!

The boys (and Karen!) had an absolute blast checking out the off-road buggy and heading out for a ride. There was plenty of excitement, laughter, and a few adventurous moments along the way.

The smiles on everyone's faces say it all – what a wonderful experience and a day to remember. Thank you, Allan, for making it happen and for helping create such special memories for our club members. 🚜😊

✨ What if getting older wasn't something to fear, but something to celebrate?

That's the message behind Age Is Just A Number.

We're excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for Age Is Just A Number 2026, a day dedicated to challenging stereotypes, embracing possibility, and celebrating the opportunities that come with every stage of life.

This year we're thrilled to welcome renowned neuroscience educator Nathan Wallis as our keynote speaker. Nathan will share fascinating insights into how our brains continue to grow, adapt, and thrive throughout our lives.

Whether you're retired, still working, caring for others, planning for the future, or simply interested in living your best life, this event is for you.

🎟️ Early Bird tickets are available now for a limited time.

Join us for a day of inspiration, connection, learning, and a few reminders that age really is just a number.

Book online through Eventbrite or contact Age Concern Taranaki's office to secure your place.

Because the best years of your life may still be ahead of you.
