We’re thrilled TSB is back on board as naming rights sponsor for the TSB Festival of Lights, returning to Pukekura Park from 19 December to 24 January 2027. We also welcome new partner New Plymouth Airport and support from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Events Boost Fund.

NPDC’s iconic TSB Festival of Lights is set to shine for summers to come, with TSB renewing its naming rights sponsorship and New Plymouth Airport and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) Events Boost Fund coming on board.

We’ve started drilling at three sites near Lepperton to find an additional water source for properties in and north of Waitara. If the aquifer is able to give us a sufficient amount of good-quality water, it’ll be easier for us to meet growing demand from population growth and also keep the taps flowing in our northern areas during an emergency.

NPDC is looking underground for an additional water source to supply residents and businesses around and north of Waitara.
