Did you know that TUANZ is Aotearoa’s longest still-in-operation association in the Technology sector? 🇳🇿

Since we officially incorporated back on March 20, 1986, TUANZ has been right at the center of New Zealand’s digital evolution. From navigating the deregulation of telecom services in the 1980s to lobbying for better broadband and fighting for consumers and businesses every step of the way, it’s been an incredible 40-year journey!

We want to give a huge shoutout to our past and present members, life members, partners, and community. Thank you for being a part of our story. 💙

Two communities. One room. One shared digital agenda.

The countdown is officially on for Tech Users Summit 2026!

We're proud to be partnering with the Digital Health Association (DHA) once again, bringing together technology users, industry leaders, policymakers and innovators on Tuesday 13 October at the Grand Millennium Auckland.

This year's theme, Healthy Foundations for a Digital Future, gets right to the heart of what Aotearoa needs next—building resilient, secure and user-focused systems across both enterprise and health sectors.

Craig Young (CAE and MInstD) and Stella Ward (DHA) will kick off a day packed with insights, discussion and connections, supported by an exciting programme of speakers and thought leaders from across the digital ecosystem (stay tuned for speaker announcements).

To top it all off, we'll be wrapping up the day by raising a glass to the people making real waves in our sector at the TUANZ Member Awards.
