🐎ARARUA HORSE TREK 🐎

What a wonderful couple of days it has been ✨️

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in our annual Horse Trek 🤎

We decided to do things a bit different this year, and offer two rides, a Twilight ride on Saturday and our standard Sunday ride, an approximate 4-hour trek through farmland

A huge thank you to everyone on the commitee for making the day possible, thanks to Bruce for being the tail and the snacks man.

And lastly, a huge ngā mihi to Derek, the man that decides where the trek is going. This year they rode to the 13th largest Kauri Tree in NZ - which is pretty cool to have in our backyard! 🌳

REMINDER: The " Famous In Ararua" Horse Trek is on in two weeks, so get your registration in as it helps for catering purposes 🙂

The rides are organized and the menu is set.
The rides will be a little bit of road (metal), but mostly farmlands and forestry.
It's going to be a fine and sunny day so don't forget your sunblock and water, for you and your horse.

On the Sunday ride we will have a break halfwayish round for you to stretch your legs, we will provide bottled water and some snacks.

We have asked the farmer not to put his cows in the paddock where the horsefloats will be parked overnight.
