Our Year 5-6 Rippa Team is away in Wānaka today competing in the Central Otago competition. They started the day with two close losses, then two good wins. They are now playing off for third place overall. What a great effort from our little school up against the ‘big boys’. 🎉

Thanks to James, Ellen and Kelsey for getting them there and doing the hard work.

Thank you for supporting Pink Shirt Day 2026. The senior students organised activities and had crazy hair salons, nail salon, face painting, colouring and icing cup cakes. Massive thanks to Stacey, Nat, Claire, Amberlee and Kate for supplying the cupcakes for all our students. They were a hit!

Inspired by the medieval castles Rangi glass are creating, Awa students decided to make their own castles using maths equipment. Lots of robust discussion and problem solving happening.

So the wait was over. Rangi students started building their medieval castles today. They did so well working together in their groups. They will finish building them next week. Then we will paint them. 🏰

Papatūānuku walked to the fire station today and learnt all about how the fire brigade help us. Thank you Adam for showing us all the equipment and how it is used to keep us safe. What a great job our fire brigade does!!
