🚒After decades of service and many years off the road, this freshly restored and strictly for show piece of history will be right here in Omarama! Visitors to our Open Day will have the chance to get up close, climb aboard and take a look at a piece of Omarama's firefighting history!

A massive shout-out to the team at National Transport & Toy Museum for allowing us to showcase this incredible piece of our brigade’s history! We are so grateful to have the opportunity to share it with our community as part of our 60-year celebrations!

Fire is unpredictable, it can happen anywhere, anytime and remember.... things look a lot different when you can’t see through the smoke!

An amazing training last night for our crew as we worked through a realistic fire scenario, and we managed to successfully rescue all our brave community “patients” along the way!

Massive thanks to the Countrytime Hotel for the space, and to everyone who helped make it happen!

Here's to our crew - National Volunteer Week ❤🚒👨‍🚒

They drop what they're doing to answer the call. They could be at work, having family time, in a nice warm bed, in the shower or even out for dinner.

From the early mornings, late nights, and the trainings in between. For the steady heads in tough moments, the teamwork, and the quiet courage it takes to step forward when others need help most.

To our volunteers and the people behind our uniforms, the neighbors, the friends and the community members who support us, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you.

With May being the busiest on record, we're on track to have our highest number of call outs in a financial year.

When the siren sounds, our volunteers drop everything to respond but we couldn't do it without the unwavering support of our families and employers.

Fingers crossed it settles down soon, just no one say the 'Q' word 🤫
