Time in the water is what helps us achieve our goals.
30 minutes a week for a child to master the art of swimming is simply not enough, they must be exposed to the water element frequently to become proficient.

Congratulations to Amber Bourke, the deepest Australian Woman, who successfully earned herself a National Record this morning with her incredible 68m dive with no fins (yes, down into the ocean and back)

Successful dive to 68m without fins today - a new Australian record and 4m short of the current World Record 😱 I got a white card but it wasn't the easiest dive. A bit of current meant my lanyard was dragging on the line for most of the descent and the dive time ended up being quite long (even for me!). For the first time since I started training cnf I surfaced a bit hypoxic. Thank you Trista Fontana Freediver for coaching and taking this photo. I was considering having a day off and then trying another cnf dive but I think after this one I might give myself a few days rest from cnf!

I was asked to run a Water Safety program for a company who's employee's are exposed to rivers, dams and the ocean on a regular basis. It was a lot of serious fun assessing their swimming skills and putting them through drills to take them out of their comfort zone.
