Tōku reo, tōku tuakiritanga, tōku anamata.

Ngā painga e whakatauiratia e tātou, ka noho Māori mai ki ngā reanga e heke mai nei.

Kōrerotia.
Whakarongohia.
Tohaina.

Ka ora te reo i a koe me ngā whānau maha o Te Whakatōhea.

Whānau ora, hapū ora, ka ora ai te iwi.

Our reo, our identity, our future

What we normalise today becomes natural for the generations who follow.

Speak it.
Hear it.
Share it.

Let our reo live wherever our whānau are.

Ia kupu kua maharatia.

Ka ora te reo i roto i a tātou tamariki. Whāngaia.

Whānau ora, hapū ora, ka ora ai te iwi.

Reo through our tamariki
There is something powerful about hearing our tamariki speak words once carried by their tīpuna.
Every waiata learned.
Every pepeha spoken.
Every kupu remembered.
Our reo continues through them.

Whānau ora, Hapū ora, Ka ora ai te Iwi

Whānau ora, hapū ora, ka ora ai te iwi.

Ngā Rangatahi Ruku | Te Reo Rua me te Tuakiritanga 🌊

Our reo, our taiao and our whakapapa all help connect us to who we are. Through Ngā Rangatahi Ruku, our rangatahi are building confidence, developing practical skills and learning in an environment that strengthens their connection to the moana, to one another and to their identity.

It is more than learning to dive. It is about creating opportunities for rangatahi to grow, challenge themselves and understand the responsibility we carry as kaitiaki.

He ara ako. He ara tupu. He ara tūhono.
A pathway to learn, to grow and to connect.

Through opportunities like Ngā Rangatahi Ruku, we continue to support our rangatahi to stand confidently in who they are and where they come from.

Whānau ora, hapū ora, ka ora ai te iwi
