⭐️Congratulations to everyone who received awards at our assembly on Friday!

Certificates were presented to students for their achievement and effort in class, accomplishments in StepsWeb, Cross Country, the 10-Day Maths Challenge (reaching the summit), the Gifted and Talented Animation Class, and Times Tables Rock Stars (Gone Green).

We also celebrated two students who successfully completed their Science Badges. Well done to all of our award recipients on your fantastic achievements! ⭐️

⭐️MATARIKI CELEBRATION⭐️

What a lovely day we have had celebrating Matariki.

It was great having The Otautau Play Centre come and join us for breakfast, along with parents and school community.

Thank you to Friends of the School for providing and cooking the yummy breakfast for us all.

The school and Kapa Haka group performed some waiata with pride before the rest of the days activities began.

Througout the day the school worked in their house groups together and created some arts and crafts to be proud of.

Congratulations to our teams who competed in the Western Agrikids competition today. Our students showed awesome team work and great agriculture skills during the day. Massive congratulations to Otautau Number 8 Legends (Cole, Tessa and Nadia) who were 3rd in the Year 5-6 comp and to the Otautau Woolshed Warriors ( Karsten, Monty and Casey) who were 2nd in the Year 7-8 comp. A big shout out to our Managers/ Coaches Mike Tyler, Rob and Toni Auld and Jenny and Bruce Paterson. The teams were well trained and had a blast. Thank you 😀👏

Tau Celebration Assembly

Congratulations to all the children who received their Bronze and Silver Tau Award today. Also a big congratulations to Leonardo who received his Southland Athletics Championship hoodie, this was for 1st Place in shot put earlier in the year.
