‼️ REMINDER & UPDATES FOR MARAE MERCH‼️

🔥 Hauraki Games Wānanga
📅 Tomorrow (Sunday 15th March)
🕙 10am start
📍 Te Pai o Hauraki Marae
🍪 Bring a plate (biscuits, cake, muffins etc)
🥪 The marae will provide lunch
🏈 Teams will be organised
📣 We'll be learning the marae chant
🎽 Singlets will be available for pay/pick-up

⚠️Updates regarding marae merch:
➡️We’ve had to slightly adjust the prices due to the full cost from supplier not taken into account. Updated prices are on the poster.
➡️ Unfortunately, we have only received singlets from the supplier! They will be available tomorrow.
➡️ Tees are still on the way & will be available to pick-up on the following dates:
- Friday night 20th March from Te Pai o Hauraki Marae (time tbc)
- Morning of the Hauraki Games (21st March, from 7am at Paeroa Domain)

🔥 TE PAI O HAURAKI MARAE KI HAURAKI GAMES🔥

E te whānau,
Our marae has placed an order for Te Pai o Hauraki merch for Hauraki Games 2026.

✨ IMPORTANT INFO:
• Due to the order time-frame, this will be the only merch available from our marae for this kaupapa therefore, stock is limited. It will be first in-first served (no holds or pre-ordering)
• We will only be accepting holds for our kaumātua (please contact Tiriarangi- 0224215511 to organise this)
• Those who register to play/support our marae at Hauraki Games will get first option to purchase a t-shirt or singlet (as whānau will wear these to play/support on the day)
• Purchase and pick up will be available at Te Pai o Hauraki Marae, at our weekend noho (14-15 March) and on the morning of the Hauraki Games (21st March, Paeroa Domain).
• We can only accept cash or bank transfer on pick up

**If there is any merch left over, whānau are more than welcome to buy**

We're still looking for:

Tēnā tātou,
Te Pai o Hauraki is participating at the Hauraki Cutltural Festival (held at Kerepehi Marae, Saturday 22nd November 2025).
We're entering a rōpū ngahau, open to ALL whānau of the pā ✨

We'll be holding 2 x 1-day practices:
🔒Practice 1 at Te Pai o Hauraki Marae
Sat 4th October 10am-4pm (this Saturday)
🔒Practice 2: Venue TBC
Sat 18th October 10am-4pm

We'll be having a shared kai at both practices, please bring a koha (or what you can) to contribute.
Bring the whānau along to learn the waiata. Our babies, tamariki, kaumātua, aunties and uncles🎶

Stunning turn out for our Iwi men, women around 100 💯 thank you to those apologies in advanced hopefully you can catch up with someone who attended to update 🙏💚 Kii pai to tatou marae ki nga whanau katoa te putanga mai o te mauri hikaka mo tenei taonga tukuiho ⚔️🔥

Keep up the training whanau, we will get those weekly trainings under way after school holidays ✨️

We will also attempt another Uruora Matarua & Rikoriko Noho Wananga in November before our mass national internationally Hui Putahi event 💙

Please be advised that our Marae Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

🗓 New Date: Sunday 12th October 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00am
📍 Venue: Te Pai o Hauraki Marae

This replaces the earlier date of 21st September 2025 - however, we will still be holding our monthly hui on this date (which is THIS Sunday).

Nau mai, haere mai!
We warmly invite all our whānau to come, kōrero, and be part of the decision-making for our marae. Your voice is important in guiding the pathway forward.

Mauri Uruora! Aku whakapaha mō tēnei takaroa. It's been a busy few months for Te Whare Uruora, Rikoriko and Matarua around the motu & across the globe ✨✨✨

We now have an available date for the whanau for Wananga Maupatu Mere Pounamu Rakauroa ✔️
September 13th Saturday at Te Pai o Hauraki 10am to late ✅

✅ Tane & Wahine combined ancestral knowledge acquisition
✅ We have marae overnight for those traveling
✅ September 13th Saturday 10am until late
✅️ Fee those paid koha prior there is no fee
✅ $50 koha for those new ones

Those 120 whanau rego prior will receive confirmation ASAP as priority ☑️
