Got a great community project or idea in need of funding? The Powerco Community Fund is open for projects happening between October this year to May next year.

Do you have a project that will make a real difference in your community? This is your opportunity to bring it to life.

We’re looking to support initiatives that:

Part of a school wanting to do more with the environment? Check out the Environmental Leaders Action Fund that Horizons Regional Council have open until 16 Aug.

Thanks to funding like this, schools across the region have learnt how to give back to the environment through māra kai, building native plant nurseries, building composting projects and learning vital outdoor skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION FUNDS 🏫

We are pleased to announce our new Environmental Leaders Action Fund (ELAF) is now open 😍

This fund replaces the previous Pat Kelly Enviroschools Action Fund.

ELAF supports any school or early childhood education (ECE) centres within the region to deliver action projects that align with or strategic priorities and community outcomes 🌱
