Freyberg Community Pool Welcome to Freyberg Community Pool's facebook! The 25m pool has a depth starting at 1.05m and reaching over 2m at its deepest.

Our fantastic aquatic facilities consist of a 25m indoor pool with wheel chair ramp and also a safe toddlers' pool with an adjoining beach area for the little ones. Our centre prides itself on providing quality, safe and affordable fun for the whole family. Our After School Care kids have enjoyed animal week this week. We've made animal melty beads, jelly fish, built farms, played animal themed games, enjoyed a movie, fun animal quizzes and more.

Our programme is open until 6pm Monday- Friday and still have spaces avaliable.

1. She grew up overseas and moved back to NZ alone for university in 2024
2. She is in her second year of studying Zoology at Massey and wants to rescue wild cats in the future
3. She fosters cats and kittens that need the space and time to grow/recover

⭐️This week we celebrated and acknowledged one of our stars - Freyberg lifeguard & Aquatics Coordinator Jo Whittaker and his 10 years of service with us! Jo and his team play a huge part in ensuring the pools are treated, clean, set up ready for you all to use everyday. the lifeguards are trained & upskilled and the changing rooms checked, cleaned & probably MOST importantly, there is enough toilet paper! If you've ever visited us you have probably seen Jo's smiling face greeting you or wishing you a good day. Thanks Jo, we LOVE having you as part of our team, here's to another 10 years mate 💙
