As the spooky season rolls around and the jack-o’-lanterns light up, don’t forget the most important sound you could hear this Halloween the beep of a working smoke alarm! 🏠💨

Whether you’re lighting candles in pumpkins 🕯️, using decorative lights, or cooking up Halloween treats, make sure your smoke alarms are working and in the right places in every bedroom, hallway, and living area.

That little beep could be the difference between a fright night… and a safe night. 👻❤️

Tomorrow firefighters from across Aotearoa are climbing the Sky Tower to raise money for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand who support Kiwis living with blood cancer. ❤️

51 flights of stairs, 1103 steps, AND wearing 25kg of firefighting gear! 🤯

Ka pai on all the fundraising efforts so far and good luck to everyone climbing, you got this! 🙌
