Thank you to all our members who joined us in Tauranga for our second regional meeting. We really enjoyed connecting, networking and collaborating with you all. Thanks to Western Bay of Plenty District Council for hosting us, and the fabulous Amy for organising everything. Thanks to Flowingly for your presentation, workshop and sponsoring the catering with ALGIM and Yorb for your presentation on Copilot. Watch out for our next regional meeting - this time in the South Island. Also a shout out to Renee from Upper Hutt City Council who was unable to join us live but recorded her presentation beforehand.

Great to see our members from Waitomo District Council, Hamilton City Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Kawerau District Council, Taupō District Council, Hauraki District Council, Tauranga City Council, Ōtorohanga District Council, Matamata-Piako District Council, Rotorua Lakes Council, South Waikato District Council, and BoPLASS.

Voted #1 keynote speaker at ALGIM 2023 Conference - join us and Elle Archer - digital equity champion - at our webinar on 27 February. https://www.algim.org.nz/event-5581376

Elle has been involved in Iwi, Business, Industry, Government, and Community development for 27yrs. With a background in Science, Geospatial Technology, Education, Infrastructure, and Emergency Management - Elle now finds herself in varying leadership positions across the region, nationally, and globally.

Her kaupapa is centred around collective leadership, progressive governance, digital equity, inclusion in action, integrated ecosystems, strategic foresight, and tactical application.

Elle holds multiple directorships and governance roles including the Executive Chair of Te Ao Matihiko and Te Matarau – The Māori Tech Association; Chair of the Waitaha Digital Equity Joint Committee; Chair of the Selwyn District Local Welfare Committee. She is a Director on the board of Network 4 Learning, Tū Ātea – The Māori Broad Spectrum, Archland Investments; and Learning City Christchurch – Āko Ōtautahi, amongst others. She is currently looking at undertaking a PhD at the University of Canterbury exploring impact-led governance.
