This morning we had a special visitor from More FM Manawatu 92.2 come to our donor centre. ⭐️

Gareth was in bright and early to donate whilst being live on the radio to give their listeners a rundown on how to go about donating blood and the importance of it ❤️🩸

Congratulations to Gareth who completed this 10th donation today walking away with his milestone gift of a NZ Blood drink bottle + a cupcake to go ! 🧁

Today we had our awesome donor Allan Hansen come in and donate his 400th donation !

Allan is a huge part of our NZBS family here in Palmerston North and brought cake to share with the staff to celebrate!

We want to thank Allan for his dedication to saving lives over the last 35 years ! ❤️🩸

Today we had pleasure of meeting Tangi Utikere the Labour MP for Palmerston North who came to the Donor Centre to see what we are all about !

He was able to have a look at our processes from recruitment all the way to our Bloodbank and learn what it’s like for our blood to go from vein to vein 🩸

We want to thank him for taking the time to meet our team + donors ! ❤️
