Tuesday 2.00pm - 5.00pm , Thursday and Saturday 09:30 am - 12:30 pm We are closed on public holidays.

We are an environmentally friendly, money-saving, community-building organisation and help ensure that you always have new and engaging toys for your whānau / tamariki. Nau Mai Haere Mai

Our opening hours are Tuesday 2pm-5pm., Thursday and Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm. The Manawatu Toy Library is a not-for-profit charity organisation that has been part of the community since 1976 - that's 49 years! Th

e Manawatu Toy Library is like a regular library but with toys instead of books. Our members pay a subscription and are not required to volunteer (although it is always welcome). We rely on volunteers, grants, donations and our membership fees to continue to operate. Membership is designed for families, caregivers, and community groups as an affordable subscription fee. Subscription Options
$125 for 1 year
$73 for 6 months
$47 for 6 months, for Community Services Card holders
$42 for 3 month trial membership

Kia ora members,

We’re sorry to let you know that the Manawatū Toy Library will be closed tomorrow (Saturday) due to illness.

This winter has been particularly tough with winter bugs, and unfortunately many in our community have been hit by them. We’ve made the decision to close this Saturday so our team can rest and recover.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.

We’ll be back open as usual on Tuesday (18 August). We look forward to seeing you then!

Our Toy Library's toy shelf signage has gotten an upgrade! A little late on this post, as it has been a couple of weeks since two of our committee members put a lot of hours into this project. Special thanks to Michelle for spearheading it. It's been a long time coming, so we are absolutely thrilled! A huge thanks to Debi and Leon at PNCC for helping us with the Te Reo Māori translations.
