Well, I'm the type of gal who likes to roam around, I'm never in one place.................yep you know how the song goes...........and we have one in the craft room, been there for years, then left at the last cleanout and now its back again. Comeon ladies, play the game!! The person whose body this represents needs to step up and take it home, please.

Weather has cooled off a lot, winter nearly here. Erin and Kay have been so busy knitting for women's refuge. I have done a 4th delivery of childrens gear, so appreciated. Large number of squares been dropped off so I will be busy sewing up. Some large pieces suitable for blankets from Karyn (I think) (apologies if I got that wrong) which I took to Knit and Natter today and my lovely ladies are going to sew them up for me. ❤❤❤

Good morning - a message to the users of the Craft Room. It is time for a tidy up - it's a couple of years since this was done. So if you have left stuff up there that doesn't have a home - then its time you claimed it and took it home. So check these photos please and take action soon.

This is surely a WOW moment......................................!!!

Key postal services will remain available at Tara Rd Pharmacy in Papamoa after NZ Post reversed an earlier decision to withdraw them. The decision followed strong community feedback and a national review process.

People will be able to send domestic mail, but stamps and prepaid envelopes from the pharmacy.🤩💚🥰

Can't make it to knit and natter today, sorry. Amazing where the wool and peggy squares turn up. I was home all afternoon and didn't hear anyone knock or anything -late in the day I notice some bags inside my front door - where did they come from???? Think it could be Beth, thankyou. Also photo of adult socks I have been knitting - easy peazy - two needles, DK, garter stitch. Let me know if you would like the pattern. Have a good day.

A word of warning if you live in the vicinity of Papamoa College. In the past few weeks there have been many cars broken into and items stolen from inside and also some attempts to take the vehicle and damaging ignitions.

In particular Rainey Crescent, Blanche Road, Tremough Boulevard, Drabble Crescent and surrounding streets. Most of the offending is in the wee small hours so if you are disturbed by strange noises or a car alarm activation close by, please investigate safely and if you see something happening call Police on 111 immediately.
•Lock your vehicle
•Remove ALL valuables
•Fit a Steering Wheel lock
•Respond if you hear a car alarm activated at night

From Neighborhood watch group near us - don't be complacent!
