Last Friday we had our Week 6 Hui with Room 3 sharing some fantastic writing. We welcomed two new five year olds and handed out our school cross country certificates. Congratulations to all our tamariki for well-deserved achievements. We also had our first environmental session for the term, Silverbeet & cheese crustless quiche with Lemon & Poppy Seed muffins on the menu.

On Wednesday afternoon's we have Circus Kumarani visiting our school, teaching our tamariki how to use different equipment. These activities promote fine motor skills, balancing, coordination and a whole lot of fun!! A huge thank you to Circus Kumarani for bringing so much energy, fun, and new skills to our tamariki! 🎪✨"

Thank you to all who attended our annual Cross Country, it was a beautiful day. To all of our tamariki who put all their effort into getting to the finish line, Ka mau te wehi! A lot of our students have been away with winter illnesses and so completing the run with little practise was showing our school value, Resilience. Well done to all!

Wow what an epic show! This years Wearable Art Show 'Page to Parade' definitely made us proud with the amazing costumes created by our tamariki. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers for working tirelessly to put this show together and support our tamariki in their technology learning. The hall was transformed into a fairytale and nursery rhyme storybook for one day only and it was a reminder of the infinite potential we have in our school and the creativity that is shown when our tamariki get to dream big!

Today we have our rehearsal at the hall. There is no heating in the hall so warm clothes are a must today and tomorrow.
