Kua hinga te tōtara o Te Waonui a Tāne
A tōtara tree has fallen in the forest of Tāne.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Takutai Tarsh Kemp. We extend our heartfelt aroha and condolences to her whānau, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. E ngākau aroha ana.

She was a tireless advocate for Māori rights and the advancement of women, and her legacy of courage and mana will continue to inspire many. We are especially grateful for her contribution to our ‘Girls Just Want to Have Funds’ rally, and for being an advocate for rangatahi. Her warm presence and love for people will be incredibly missed.

Rest in peace, love and power.

Kia Ora everyone! Princes Street Labour will be taking part in sweat with pride this year!!! We would really appreciate any donations from you, big or small!!! Even sharing our socials would go a really long way!

Sweat With Pride is an awesome initiative where people and groups take part in 21 minutes (minimum) of activity daily for the month of June to raise funds to help change lives and support our rainbow/takatāpui community! This year, we are pledging our donations to our rainbow rangatahi! We see you, we hear you and we are backing you all the way!!! 🫶🏼✊🏽🌈

At Princes Street Labour, rangatahi are at the core of our kaupapa. We want to live in a country where every young person has the opportunity to have solid, successful, and thriving futures. The National Party budget is an insult to our dreams and our future. It tells us that the wealthy will continue to get wealthier and the poor will continue to get poorer.

We have been made to shoulder the burdens and make sacrifices yet again - AND WE WILL NOT STAND FOR IT!!!

Princes Street Labour strongly opposes this budget and will relentlessly advocate for young people to ensure the investments this government makes are ACTUALLY in the best interest of our collective future and not just theirs!!!

Stay tuned as we continue to fight for a future that uplifts all of us, not just the privileged few. Join us in speaking out, planning, organising, and demanding better.

Follow us, share our message, and show up because when rangatahi rise, change becomes unstoppable.

This is our future.
