We have just arrived back into Auckland after a long drive back from Wellington, we left Auckland yesterday with a truck full of Taro (100+ bags) and we came back with a empty truck - All the Taro SOLD.

We would like to thank our Wellington Cook Island community for your love and support and welcoming Tatanu Produce into your home. We are so grateful for your continuous love and support, because you have supported us you are helping us support our people back home, our families and our local growers - This is why we will continue to do what we are doing.

Family we plan to have another shipment in the coming weeks, due to the high demand in Auckland and Wellington we will be taking pre-orders and will be planning another trip to Wellington. Taro has arrived at home, Inspected and cleared by MPI/NZ Customs and is now ready for customers to pick up.

As always I would like to show my love and appreciation for all those that were involved in making this happen, first shipment for 2023 😍

Firstly, thank you to Teariki Heather and his team for your continuous love and support you have shown Tatanu Produce to date, by providing us with your Taro and trusting that we will continue to share your Produce with our people here in NZ, by peeling and packing, so much more. Also would like to thank our local growers that have trusted us with your Taro, trusted that we will sell your Taro so we can pay you to show that you can trust that we will do right by you and our community.

Secondly, thank you to AIRNZ Cook Island and Kauvai Customs that have assisted with the Airfreight and Customs Clearance out of Rarotonga, Really appreciate it.

It's been a long 2 months since we've had our last shipment arrive from Rarotonga, We have been busy in the background working with locations out of Auckland to sort a permanent selling location which is all coming together 🙏

We have another shipment that has arrived, awaiting MPI/Customs Clearance on tomorrow and should be ready for collection on Friday onwards.

Family, Due to inflation we have unfortunately had to raise the price from $45 to $50 for 5kg Bags (For AKL)

At this stage we already have received a bulk order for WLG and will be going to deliver early next week. Family in WLG if you have not placed your order please reach out to order your bag.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend 🙏

I'd like to take this time to post something up to show my appreciation to our supporters in Wellington.

On Thursday morning we drove down with 70 odd bags to deliver some Taro, only to realize we didn't have enough. The amount of friends/family/customers waiting for us was overwhelming and I'm extremely grateful.

We plan to make another trip in the coming weeks with alot more bags to service the demand 🙏
