We have our ChoctoberFest 2025 winners! A massive congratulations to Sushil's Musclechef Kitchen & Café who took out the bake off with the delicious Molten Embrace, and The Jetty whose Nutty Blend won the drink section 👏

Thanks to all your support, the festival poured more than $200,000 into Porirua’s economy, giving local businesses a huge boost 💸

For one week only, our first, second and third place winners for both the Top of the Chocs and Whittaker's Bake Off are coming back! 🙌

From Friday 24 October - Friday 31 October, you can enjoy the best of the 2025 ChoctoberFest entries, as voted by you.

For the Whittaker’s Bake off, enjoy the Molten Embrace from Sushil's Musclechef Kitchen & Café, the Triple Chocolate Pistachio NYC Cookie from Sweet & Co, and Black Beauty Caravans Raspberry Rhapsody Brownie.

In the Top of the Chocs, The Jetty are bringing back the Jetty’s Nutty Blend, The Coffee Cart Elsdon will have their Chocolate Cold Foam Cloud available and The Regal Shortbread Co. will be serving up the delicious Hok-ye & pok-ye drink.

Give them a go before they are gone for good 🍫🤎

Taking out first place for the Whittaker’s Bake Off is the one, the only... Sushil's Musclechef Kitchen & Café! 👏

The winning bake is the Molten Embrace, a warm and indulgent dessert with dark chocolate fondant, salted butter caramel sauce, almond nougatine, berry biscuit crumble, vanilla bean ice cream and freeze-dried raspberry.

Luckily for those who missed it (or those who want to try it again), this bake will be available for a limited time from Friday.

In their first year participating in the festival, Black Beauty Caravan have taken out third place in the Whittaker’s Bake Off with their Raspberry Rhapsody Brownie! 🤎

Featuring Whittaker’s Dark Ghana chocolate, whole raspberries, and a cloudy light crunch of meringue, this brownie was a magical blend of texture and flavours in one bite of gooey chocolate goodness.

While Sunday marks the end of ChoctoberFest Porirua 2025, please note that not all our cafes will be open throughout the weekend. 💔🍫

Friday is your last chance to try the Black Beauty Caravan's Sesame Sipper, available from 8am to 1:30pm.

Saturday is the final opportunity to enjoy the following cafe offerings:
Elemental Eats Whiteout Lava Shake is available Saturday from 7:30am to 2:30pm and again from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
Little Green Olive Dark & Nutty Orange is available Saturday from 7am to 1:30pm.
The Coffee Cart Elsdon Chocolate Cold Foam Cloud is available Saturday from 8am to 1pm.

Made Porirua famous by their Wellington On a Plate success, Elemental Eats are proving they make more than just a good burger this ChoctoberFest Porirua! 🍫🥤

Add the Whiteout Lava Shake to your list: a Whittaker's milk chocolate hot fudge base, topped with cool and creamy white chocolate, Kāpiti Ice Cream shake and finished with a Whittaker's milk or white chocolate sante bar to stir if you dare!

Our Whittaker's Chocolate Lovers X The Peppermill Cafe event was pure chocolate magic! Lucky winners got hands-on, crafting their own Whittaker’s slabs, sampling The Peppermill Cafe signature treats, and diving into the bean-to-bar journey.

There’s still time to be in to win the Whittaker’s Factory tour, and 100 Whittaker’s Peanut Slabs – so get out and enjoy the last few days of ChoctoberFest Porirua!
