Alphonso Parsons, Social Worker – Whānau Ora, shares the final message in Taeaomanino Trust's Men's Health awareness campaign with a heartfelt message for the Samoan community.

In his message, Alphonso reminds us that looking after our health isn't something we should only think about during an awareness week or special event. Men's health deserves our attention every day. By taking care of our mental and physical wellbeing, we're not only investing in ourselves—we're also better equipped to care for our partners, children, families, and communities.

As we conclude this campaign, we hope these messages have encouraged men from all cultures to check in on themselves, support one another, and know that asking for help is a sign of strength. The conversation doesn't end here—let's continue making men's health a priority every day of the year.

If you would like to have a talanoa with us, please give us a call on 0800 345 345 for a confidential discussion about your circumstances and how we may be able to support you.
