This is a fun-filled, family-friendly evening designed for everyone aged 5 and up. Whether you’re a trivia titan or just in it for the snacks, it’s going to be a night to remember.

We know many people in the Bay have a personal connection with our kura. This Sunday, May 24 from 9:00am–12:00pm, we welcome you to the front fence line to plant a native tree for yourself or your whānau.

All plants will be provided and we would love to see people of all ages come along and be part of it. If you have them, please bring garden gloves and a bucket.

Please fill out this Google Form to confirm your participation.

Kua hinga te tōtara i Te Waonui-a-Tāne.
A tōtara tree has fallen in Tāne’s great forest.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Nathan Rei, a master of his mahi and a man of generosity and humility, who has left an everlasting imprint on our hapori.

We send all our aroha, whakaaro, and prayers to Matua Nathan’s nieces, nephews, mokopuna, the whānau of our kura, his wider whānau, me te whānau katoa o Ngāti Toa Rangatira.

Matua Nathan’s aroha, pūkenga, kōrero, and legacy are forever woven and carved into the heart of our kura.

Moe mai rā e te rangatira. 🤍🤍🕊️

A fantastic day at Tough Tamariki at Camp Wainui, where a heap of KURA kids were their amazing selves for the day and ticked off a bucket-list item by completing the course.

A big thanks to all the kaiako who made it happen. We were also awarded the “Most Colourful School” award — aka the best school!

A special thanks to Nancy for collecting the award on stage on behalf of the kura.
